The newest F/A-18 on the block

Postby codered » Tue Jun 08, 2004 1:41 am

This is another fantastic looking aircraft. ;D
I noticed though that when I open the canopy it opens in VC, but not in external.

No complaintes here though.  If that is the only flaw, then we are doing pretty well..... ;D

Oh Cool,
where did you come across a two seater?

Is it carrier landable?

asking because for some reason the original model is not landing on carriers for me. The arrestor hook doesn't the cable on the deck. I actually made a perfect landing and saw the hook pass right through them :(!

Nice shots!

I've never had problems with the F model not traping, however if you are not using FD3/Arrcabs or an equivelent then the wires are just for show  8)

I have Flight Deck 3 and the arrcab program running and I get no trap  >:( This really sucks, because it is limiting me to accepting the f18Super Hornet as a land based attack plane when I would prefer to have her on a carrier where she belongs  :-/!

Tell me just how are you catching the cables Tequila Sunrise  ??? because I haven't a clue whats wrong :'(

mav

Thanks for the link Shinigami. I think I got her, it downloaded! much apreciated ! ;D

Same here Shinigami  ;D! The aircraft flies so smoothly and lands so gracefully! I downloaded both versions as well. But I am really digging the F18-F version with the refuel version and the recieving version.

your main doors key and the #2 key hit at the same time reveals the refuel boom connector from the front of the aircrafts nose. :o Discovered this tinkering around with the special function keys!

However I am still experimenting with this plane to figure out how to release the refuel boom hose from the center tank under the refuel version aircraft.  ???

have you discovered how to do this?

You have to go into cockpit veiw and turn your lights on on the panel.I use this panel http://www.simviation.com/fs2004panels6.htm so i dont know where the light switch is on the default panel.
