My first repaint

Postby Stormtropper » Wed Jun 09, 2004 4:24 pm

I have been asking people to do this repaint for a lllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggg time, but no one did it, so I found some time (I still can't believe I was working on this instead of studying for my math final exam all afternoon) and played around alittle and did it.

So what do you guys think? Should I upload it?

Ok, I'm uploading it now 8)

And yup its the Band of Brothers one.

Thanks
Jeff

P.S. Just so you guys don't freek out, I changed the pilots' hat and shirt colors to green, "tucked" in their tie, and fired the African-American (I don't think any African-Americans piloted C-47s in WWII) ;D

P.P.S. I hope I didn't offend anyone

OMG 8)! 8)! 8)! 8)! 8)!
That's beautiful, the only let-down is in shot 3.
If ya'll look closely the tail number is backwards, but other than that........................
Then again Jeff, you said it's your first - so one can hardly expect it to be immaculate - DEFINATELY want it.

Thanx. Carl

Way better than my attempt.... As for the crew, good job for risking political correctness to have historic accuracy

Yeah, I noticed, but the thing only has one side of the tail and just mirrors the tail over, and to keep at least the tail number accurate I had to do that.

BTW, this might be something Hagar, Felix, or Ozzy might know, weren't like one side of some aircrafts purposly left backwards in WWII? and even Today?

I say lose just a pinch of accuracy and use a symmetric letter for it. Like A, I, T or something
