Jump Jet fun

Postby Stormtropper » Fri Jun 04, 2004 8:33 pm

Here is the brand new Harrier availble here!
Excelent model and panel. Comes with a VC, not very good though. It can be vertically taken off easily, but the flight dynamics are overpowered. Good aircraft though.

Enjoy

Great bit of flying there Jeff. I haven't installed the Harrier yet, I'm still playing with the Jag. Two great jets in one week, what a lucky bunch we are ;D

I've been flying here and I love how easy she is to take off, but I cant for the life of me land the plane without its nose pointing straight down! And I turned on the auto trim per the instructions, too!  Anybody know how to land that thing properly?

Very pretty shots, BTW

Thanks guys.

Accutally its not hard to do that, just keep your bird steady and set the plane to a very slow decent and it should go in by it self. Took me only 30 seconds.

On the other hand, taxing this thing is a pain in the A$$, it just refuse to turn. Lots of push backs. ;D

Thanks
Jeff

P.S. boeingman, just get into a about 70o angle with the place you want to land, and do full flaps and set your trottle to 60-75%. decrease it if your climbing and increase if your goind nose down. You should get down ok.

P.P.S. this thing has got a really strong undercarriage, so you can slam it down on the deck, as long as its wheel's side down. ;D

:oNice landing  8)

I take it that is one of the default carriers, never knew or probably never checked out if it had a secondary deck. You got some skills there buddy! I am not a fanatic of the harrier. but I do like shiny detailed aircrafts!
Its only in your mind, strong mind, strong soul and nobody can take that from you!
