Super-Corsair update...

Postby Wing Nut » Sat Jun 05, 2004 10:49 pm

For the one or two people here at SimV who haven't pitched in with advice on this project, here's how it's shaping up.   ;D  For those who have, you have my undying gratitude; especially Felix... :)  The project is Bob Odegaard's F2G-1 Super Corsair; the only flying Super Corsair in the world.  This is my first plane, and I think it is coming along nicely, if not speedily.  It has months left to go, and much learning to achieve.

The cockpit is coming along nicely.  The wings are only temporary.  I'll make some real ones when the time comes.

The prop is homemade, except for the blades, which I lifted from a FFDS 3-blade prop.  The Engine is also courtesy of FFDS.

For some reason, some of the parts vanish at certain angles.  I am praying this is not a fatal flaw.

I think I need to scale the project down a bit.  ;D
