The Ultimate "AIR" Brakes!!!

All I can say is WOW! These new "AIR" brakes on the 747-400 are sooooooo effective, that they leave skid marks in the air! ! !  AND EVEN BEFORE YOU GET THERE ! ! !  

(and no, these are not edited...it just happened that way when I did the replay!)





And these shots are what I was trying to get in the first place....just thought they were kinda cool!  8)

I was going very fast actually...I dont fly the big-birds much so i was practicing...and....lets just say that after I finally touched down....the flaps would not retract! ! ! ! !  ;D

Hehe1 #3 looks WAY to low. A couple feet lower, those skids would have been on the ground!
