For those of you not in the know Barra is a small airfield in the far northwest of Scotland, a nice quiet place for a dawn flight in my Cub :D

Very Nice Mark :)

I like getting up and being able to catch the sun comming over the horizon...so peaceful and tranquil.  It is also just as beautiful if you can catch the sun setting during the evening.

At either time I always find myself reciting P/O JG Magee Jr. RCAF his poem High Flight.  I have often wondered if this moment in time is what he meant,  is what he was writing about.

Those two shots are wonderful and they must make any pilot want to be there.
