First shot from new Alienware system!

Postby EricK » Fri May 28, 2004 2:13 am

Hi there,
Well I finally got my new toy. I've only had it for about a day and a half. Everthing is coming together great, but I have about 2 weeks worth of tweeking, updating and downloading. This thing is amazing!! Here is my very first screenshot from the new system. In this shot I am getting about 35fps with settings maxed, full traffic and real weather. #$%ing incredible!

I'm sure I will have many new shots to follow. I hope you enjoy and if you hear someone giggling uncontrolably like a little girl, its me!!!

Thanks
Eric

Thank you for the great replies guys!! I am enjoying myself so much, I almost feel guilty!

Rifleman, that is a true blast from the past. You are absolutely right. Their have been some major advances in my understanding and dedication to Flight Simulator. Well, as many people say, its not a "hobby", its an "obsession"!!!!!

Thanks again
Eric

Thoes Alienware computers are nice machines. Out of my reach though.

Here's my ideal FS set up. 72mhz, 0mb Ram, no video card. Think I'm crazy. No I'm just an R/C pilot.  ;D

Try running your system at a lower screen res and see what happens.
