I love anything with a Merlin engine, it seems more purist than the Griffon engines. I love Vs and IXs the best, but the VIII has a certain grace of her own (retractable tail-wheel for a smoother line).
Heck I just love all Spits. If you want to fly them in FS then look out for Paul Rebuffats CFS2 models, they're the best 8)

thanks ozzy. :) its always nice to hear someone talking about old warbirds. they are deffinately the best ;D
i still havnt found a good one for fs9, ???
does anyone have any suggestions.?

Ant quite a few of Pauls CFS2 models have been updated for FS9 and are available at no-nodes (flightsim), and all are superb ;)
