I present the Sikorsky S38c Amphibian. In a rather eyecatching colour  8)

Taking the troups out on a picnic.

Gear up and turning for the lake.

A well appointed if somewhat basic cockpit.

See what I mean about the Picnic Basket  :o
Image
Splashdown ... and a couple of hours of enjoying the fishing and sunshine 8)
Image
Lifting off and heading for home :'(
Image
On approach .....  :o :o WATCH OUT FOR THEM TREES  :o :o That'll explain the leaves on the float ;)
Image
A lovely gentle landing. :D

I don't know if this aircraft was designed to take of and land on solid ground ..... if it wasn't then it does it extremely well and really gently.

enjoy
