That's one strange little fighter. Where did you get it from?
Lovely shots as usual BTW.

Flightsim.com. You always get the no nodes screen when you try to log in. Don't know how they survive like that.

If you go to the US AirForce Museum at Wright-Patterson in Dayton Ohio, you can see a real one of these planes. I know, I've been, seen and touched the Goblin.........
There were only two Goblins ever built as the program was experimental.
It was eventually decided that the Goblin concept was too impractical and the program was cancelled.
The Goblin was actually very stable and easy to fly. The main problem was it was difficult to mate back up to the bomber "mother ship" and that was it`s downfall.
Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY Stop by and say hello.
There is some great film of the testing of this little bird trying to hook-up to the trapeze on the mother ship, I think it is availible from the National Air and Space museum.
If I remember correctly one of the prototypes was severly damaged during a hook-up attemped but managed to land safely.
Parasite fighters were first tried with airships as the mother-ship. I remember someone on this forum posted a package featuring this idea for an earlier M$ sim. It might have been CFS2 & worked very well.* I believe he used the US airship Akron as the mother ship with the Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk fighter as the parasite.
Here's some interesting information. [quote]A parasite fighter is a fighter aircraft
