Thumbs up to the people that created an AFCAD for the USS George Washington featured in Abacus Flight Deck 3!  8)

it gives you something to chase or fly wingman with! It is a whole lot of work to put together an online campaign!

Beleive me I tried! Life got a grip of my time so I barely get to post anymore. But at one time I was creating a campaign of upto 4-5 airmen at one time with their own fighters from different states! It was awesome none the less! But now I can have that kind of fun without being online  ;D!

well sorta because the AI fly a certain flight pattern around the carrier then eventually make a landing attempt! I will have to follow one of em up and see what their flight plan is!

Cheers..Sincerely....

p.s.: yea I know I am suppose to be flying the Maverick "TopGun" tomcat. But I always liked "ICEMANS" jet better  8)!

Hmmm

Looks like I'm gonna have to issue my carrier package.

You've got 3 carriers off Texas, Florida and Massachusetts plus 2 new ones in San Francisco Bay, another new one off San Diego PLUS the existing default carrier off San Francisco is also working

All have AI flying from and to them and doing touch and goes except the existing San Francisco one because it's too narrow - when you approach for a landing if you have AI aircraft lining up you hit em. Also AI planes taxi through each other. That's why I put in another ship.

I've also created new AI carrier jet and prop FDEs so you can anything you like (I've got F4s, F14s, F18s, AV8s, A6s and E-2Cs all working great). And all the carriers have full navaids for ILS approaches and you can flightplan to and from em

Abacus eat your heart out ;)
