Great work...there is interest. :)

For reference, from personal experience:

I wonder if US T-Birds had the blow in doors reversed?

I also should have pointed out the the ladder position is "Other Side". Oops. :)

Serial 133572 is (or was) a 417 Sqdn bird so don't worry about that. A 414 Sqdn bird would make a great follow on (hint). :D

Hey there everyone....thx for the comments....theses shots are from after a few hours on it working from a real poor picture......and a few decal reference images.
The serial i had slapped on it was 188572, so i shall correct that straight away. The panel lines for the crew doors etc were from Tim conrads originals so i wasnt aware what side the ladder was hooked to, i shall change the rescue marking locations to reflect that. The fuelling positions on the tanks, i shall raise them higher. The dirt shall be applied where Silver has kindly pointed out that the groundcrew crawl and push and tug etc....
The blow in doors, not alot i can do about that as thats the way the model has been built. The metal tips of the tanks, i forgot to make that layer active...my mistake. Silver, do you have any reference images of a 414sqn bird, i'll gladly do one for you. Will be getting in contact with the author asking permission to upload soon.
Alan, no problem......will do.
Will post new shots soon......in about an hour or so
;)

I've contacted Tim (Piglet) about the plenum chamber doors...can't remember but they might be different on J-33 powered versions (USAF).

Of course, Nene 10 versions had more power (5000 Lbs of thrust) and didn't blow flames on startup...but that is outside the scope of a repaint. :)

Shows old and new paint schemes, both 414...good to see the wear patterns and locations.

Hope that helps some. :)
