Ahhh, an amazing piece of German machienery.

I have read a book recently about the achievements of the German scientists in the last years.

I seem to remember that one of these flew from Germany to Poland-Danzig, but when it got there the Russians had already taken the city, so they flew all the way back.  :D

It was then taken to the UK after the war for testing, but because the British scientists didnt believe the Germans about specific maintenance, it crashed.  :'(

Great shots, lemoncat. Years ago I remember a film showing the aircraft being flown inside an inclosed stadium, possibly a propaganda film.

Yeah,it was in a stadium,but a different helo. The pilot was,AFAIK Hanna Reitsch, the personal (female) pilot of Hitler.
