I guess that's the Bristol Britannia?
I don't like the golden age props, but the Britannia is an exception, along with the Airspeed Ambassador.
Too bad the Britannia was so delayed by engine problems...all the new flashy jet machines had entered the stage by the time Britannia was finished  :'(

Cool pics man...credits you should deserve  :)

yup she is a Bristol 312 Britannia!
A very beautiful machine, lil bit slow (DC-7 were faster) although it's a turboprop - never understood why -
thanks U all guys for the comments!

Hi Storm!

this is a Mike Stone's model, called Bristol 312 Britannia and her cargo sister CL-144 which has one of the strangiest cargo door in the world, as a matter od fact, the whole tail opens!!
U can get 'em at flightsim.com (nonodes.com, LOL) both version and a set of 23 paintings, panel and sounds, I could'nt find 'em anywhere except there, not even at Mike's HP, ok?

cya!

if it wasn't for the cockpit windows, i'd say it's a Il-18...
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Nice pics there my man! Those 4 Proteus engines were a beautiful sound. We called the Brit the "whispering Giant" although it was far from a whisper. You can download the Proteus sound from Mike Stone's own site.
