Postby ozzy72 » Tue Apr 20, 2004 2:00 pm

Well I finally got my Harvards working again (reprogrammed the PC with a v.large hammer ;D), and I decided to check out my Statue of Liberty add-on as she is due to be re-opened shortly 8)

Aye Ant it seems to do the trick. I've had no end of problems, I've just got to sort the video drivers now and everything should be perfect 8) ;D

Nice pics Ozzy but, thats the Chrysler Building, not the Empire State Building. :)  Chrysler Building has that big fancy sliver top with all the triangular windows.  The Empire State has a more rectangular shape. :)

Great pics Ozzy! I was planning to download the Statue of Liberty when I saw it on SimV scenery page. I've been to the Liberty before and it was amazing! Had to wait for 6 hours in line though, lol.  ::)

Thanks for pointing out my error Sock ;)
Alas its been 27 years since I was last in NY. I can still remember climbing up the Statue of Liberty and the amazing view. My first helicopter ride (Bell Jetranger) between the skyscrapers (didn't they ban this?), and alas the WTC. I have pictures of me on top of it aged 4 with a manic grin and an ice-cream nearly as big as my own head!!! Happy times :)

HUNGARIAN STUNTPILOT VISITS NY!

From our correspondent Ted Nevill

... Hunderds of phonecalls flooded the emergencylines in New-York, as apparently a Hungarian madman in a bright yellow Harvard decided ot visit our magnificent city in his own little way. More than a dozen people complained about beeing harased and destrubed in there peace by this " tourist". He even created a huge traffic jam, as he was racing close to the skyscrapers, and people just stopped to watch this foreign daredevil...

... Response of the man himself - I even wasn't going inverted ...

Just to say, nice shots!  ;D

I'll be there Dave ;)
Oh and Omag, the only reason there are no inverted shots was they were to big to post, even when I got them down to 600 pixels wide :o Not so much shopping at Tiffanys as blowing their windows out ;D
