The cars were part of a macro package at flightsim.com.
I have already made more progress and have put the textures on the macros. No it doesnt have any effect on framerates.

Cool!  When will it be uploaded?

A few suggestions- either make the cars smaller or the parking lot and building bigger-  they look kinda out of proportion...

Also, I've never been there, but there must be some sort of road or courtyard in front of the warplane museum ???

The National Warplane Museum was at Geneseo NY and I have been there many times....I don't really remember a building like you have modelled there.....it was much smaller......After searching, I now find that it has been moved away from Geneseo.....it used to be down this road,  in those buildings in the distance.....

Image

.....also, I have been to the " Cradle " too. Unfortunately from this shot, you can't see much but the job which you have done is fine for those who have no idea about the outside "look"...........

Ill take over the history from here. (I live about 5 miles from the GCM and 14 miles from the NWM.) TRhe National Warplane museum was moved to Elmira-Corning Regional Airport. (KELM) I recomend going to Google and searching for Wings of Eagles. The name NWM is now being changed to Wings Of Eagles. (I will update textures when the paint on the building is changed.) As for the cars...I have instead resized the buildings and PL. As I said before this is not done. There is still many things to add. I WILL ADD PHOTO-REAL TEXTURES IN THE FUTURE. There wasnt really any courtyard and now the space is filled with a C-46. LAST THING IS IF ANYONE CAN MAKE A MACRO OF THAT STATUE OF THE CGF IN RIFLEMANS PIC CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE IT? My EOD program is not good enough to do tat.
                                                                    Thanks, CG

::)

Just a few thoughts for what they are worth.

Believe me, never a good idea to show any scenery design work in progress pics while they are in a very unfinished state. Different thing when stuff is more or less done and dusted and ready to publish.

You have to decide what you're trying to do and what you want and then do it. Only you can have the picture in your mind that you're trying to achieve, others can't.

It's very rare that scenery design can be a 'shared' experience, unless it's a huge project. If you ask for other people's advice or approval along the way you will be trying to make a thousand people happy but when you do it for yourself you only have to please one!  No need to explain or excuse anything - it's your work anyway  :)

You'll eventually have the satisfaction of a job well done at the end when you see how many thousands of people download it. Until then I'd just beaver away quietly if it was me and put up some more pics when you are happy that they are really impressive.

Advice - not criticism. The job's coming on fine and I'm sure it'll eventually be great.

;)
