*** Trans - USA Adventure Leg 2 ***

Postby Cherokee_6 » Mon Mar 22, 2004 12:58 pm

It was a beautiful morning in Spokane and after enjoying a hearty breakfast, I was eager to get going! Today my destination was Portland, Oregon.
I remember driving around Oregon as a kid and I know there is some beautiful scenery there so I was looking forward to seeing the sites...
Details for this leg...

Route Map thus far...

As I was loading up the Baron and getting my flight planned out...this guy in a Lear fires up his engines and decides to taxi away...the problem is two things...first, he just about clipped my wing tip when he spun around...and second, Check out his call letters!! He has the same call letters as me!! How does that happen?! Before I can try to radio him to figure what the heck is going on, he was taxiing away...
Oh well...

Got my clearance and I was on my way...nice lift-off, little headwind to make it nice and smooth...

Crossing over into Oregon, I noticed quite a few farm lands! Never knew there was farming in Oregon!

Nice shots

Could have met up in Spokane, as I flew out of there last week in the sim.

It's actually been a couple months since I was there in real life ;)

can't wait for the rest 8)

Very nice shots Dave/Dean/Mary/whoever. :) ;D

Buy I'd seriously get some information about that Learjet guy. If you can't convince him with words to give you your registration number back,I'd threaten him and his jet with A/A or G/A missiles. ;D
