I think I might have solved my carrier AI problem. This is one way.

That would be the Cutlass, correct?  Love that stubby little plane!  Can't say the sim does it justice tho'.  Shot #3 is good with that reflectivity and such. ;)

it's a cutlass which is also my nick name and my 1st email I had
this name is related to 3 diferent awesome automotors

there is a cadillac cutlass late 30's
cutlass is a yatch class too
and this amazing predecessor of Grumman F-14, cutlass, as U may notice there are a few things that reminds the greatest of all ages, the almight Tomcat, the advanced cockpit, double tail, delta wing, 2 engines and a very fast inteceptor, as a matter of fact, today I was rewatching Discovery Wings and they said that despite the very few years, 3 years if so, of work, Cutlass gave Navy and Grumman lots of know-how to built XF-10 - the 1st swingable wing jet, then F-111 (joint venture with General Dynamics) and late the Tomcat, the most beautiful plane I ever saw!!!!
So, Cutlass is very ugly (LOL), but at same time a respectful aircraft !

cya!
JUST ONE WORD: FREEWARE! The more free it is, the more shall I fly!

What more to say? This is a Vought F7U-3 "Cutlass" updated in GMax for FS9 by Paul Clawson.

Except I'm not flying it....if you look closely at the last shot, I'm in a Bell close to a static Cutlass on the port side of the carrier ;)

He he

I've also now managed to make a nice macro from a FS5 Intruder converted to FS98 so I've got yet another option. Maybe another carrier is called for here - making 2 modern and 2 vintage?

Thought maybe off southern California if it's not too far from Houston?

What ya think?  ;)

Sounds like an excellent plan to me Roger. There are some nice 2k Seafires available (and it that isn't a subtle hint then I'll pop-round with the baseball bat and the three hour long Bob Monkhouse video!!!) :o
Actually it'd be nice to see some 'classic carriers', that is a singularly neat idea.
There are a lot of warbird fanatics around here afterall, and doing some screenies of getting ones Corsair or Seafire down on the deck of HMS Lion surrounded by lots of other gorgeous kites would make a refreshing change from the F-14 drivers. How about one sort of WWII/Korea era, and one Vietnam era so there is a nice selection to suit all?
When can I start testing? ;D ;D ;D

Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a night. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
