I am going to the UK!

Postby codered » Sat Mar 13, 2004 1:19 pm

Call me a nerd (because I can be), but I am taking a business trip to the UK this week.  I had to actually make the flight before I took it.

British Airways flight #48 departing Seattle, WA to London.  Departure time is 6:30pm local.  ETA is 12:00 the next day.

Night fell fast after departing Seattle.

Climbing to our cruising altitude.

Here we are just crossing the border into Canada.  Seatbelt light is off and we may now move about the cabin.  I am now going to sleep.  Tomarrow I will be in the UK.

Image

We are getting close now, the sunrise was beautiful, but I didn't have my camera ready.

Right down the center line.  We have arrived ahead of schedule.

Tight squeeze to our parking spot, but we are finally here.

Thank you for flying British Airways, hope to see you again real soon. ;D

Departure was at 0350Z, ETA is 1107Z
Currently flying over Boston to join North Atlantic Track S.

did you leave the computer for some hours or did you just sit there in pure amazement?  ;D
I think I'm gonna get some sleep

Actually, this is what I prefer, too. You just get to see more of the beautiful FS-world and you don't have to bother 'bout low FPS on big airports. ;D
But if I really need it,I take my Excalibur on a nice USA-to-Europe flight, crossing the big pond at Mach 2.30 making some of the bus drivers jealous. ;) ;D

P.S: Nice shots of a beautiful model!
