The A380 look.

Postby britannia » Fri Feb 27, 2004 4:51 pm

I downloaded the new A380 to see what all the fuss was about.  I don't like the shape as i think that it is absalutly hidious.  But never mind.  I hoped in and taxied to the active.  Depart out, and flew around for a little while as I allways do with new aircaft to see how they perform.  This performed quite well in the air i thought althought i was a stugle to get her off the ground.  Anyway up we went.  On arival everythink was going great i thought emmm this mite not be as hard as I thought it was going to be to ger her bac down, but of course I was proved wrong.  Time for the firecrew to come sort this one out.

Hope you enjoyed as much as I did   ;D.  Any way please al of your comments are welcomed and i know that I may get some stick for this from the residents who have textbook landings everytime  ::).  Anyway thanks for looking.

Just kidding ;)

But the A380 is in fact an horrible looking aircraft, at least in FS, I hope the real one that's going to come out in a few years looks much better than this. ::)

If you ask me, the a380 looks like a mutant craft with some odd disfigured forehead.  But back on topic:

I have trouble landing the 747, never tried the scarebus 380.  I'm sure it would take a while to get my type rating! ;D

Keep trying pal. With time you for sure will have it landing like any other plane. However, I don

Aw, c'mon - the A380 is really elegant! To get something that size to be streamlined AND good-looking is a tall order, but they've done really well IMHO.

Besides, I'm biased - I've been flying a Virgin A380 around FS2002 for some while now. Here I am on the return ascent out of San Francisco in bad weather (dang than microclimate), heading back to Gatwick.
