FFX/SGA Sun Country DC-10-15 at an odd location

Postby Mike Thurman » Mon Mar 01, 2004 5:48 am

I've flown all the way from New York, and i'm coming in to land at Bermuda Int. a very strange flight plan for a Sun Country bird, lol ;D It was a PERFECT landing!! Flaps full down, spoilers up! Ladies & Germs, we will be landing shortly ;)

Image

Lined up with runway 30

Image

A gust of wind blows N738SC to the left

Image

One or two people i heard puking in first class due to our VERY low altitude

Image

Spoilers Up!! One kid in the plane 4 or something years old screamed, since he was scared of moving parts on the wing ::) :D

Image

A few more people puking at 110 ft AGL ;)

Image

I'm sure some of the folks on the beach had thier cam's ready :D

Image

TOUCHDOWN!! A veeeeeery nice and smooth landing!

Image

Slowing down...

So i taxied to the gate, and 325 people got off the giant bird. Whilst i waited, i took a 7 foot line of the onboard yarn supply, and did a bit of knitting. Something the flight engineer taught me and my co-pilot how to do, lol. ;D

Hope you enjoyed!

To be completely honest, i was flying Trebflugels, He162s, and YF-23s before flying DC-10s ;D
