Those are really cool.  I've never really flown in that area except for one flight from Anchorage to LAX, but it seems like that part of Canada is just full of beauty.

Birdie :)
I take it you must do a little bush flying?
If you do are you Beaver and Otter rated?
We have an excellent book on sale now at the museum about deHavilland aircraft, I had a glance through it last week.

Cheers...Happy Landings....Doug :)

Nice place to fly, in fact I had the good fortune to fly back from Pt Alberni at the end of the summer in a Piper Vagabond and land it at Courtenay Airpark....its nice to have friends who own their own fullsize A/C, so you can verify the attention to detail which M$ has modelled in to the sim which we all fly..........

Hey Flying Trucker,  I am Beaver rated.  I don't have enough float time for the insurance purposes for the Otter.  I fly right seat in a Jetstream 31 in the winter and the Beaver in the summer.  Hopefully I will have enough PIC time at the end of the summer to be Captain on the Jetsteam.  If I do I would probably still do the float flying in the summer just because it is so fun.  Again thanks for everyones comments,  Cheers!

One thing I really hate about FS9 is, even though you can have some spectacular weather including overcast skies, you can always see the airplanes shadow!  Under the clouds, everything is still so bright on the ground and it feels like the sun is always shining even in the worse visibility.   >:(
