Wow, nice shots, good looking '47 as well.

Although there certainly would be quite some damadge done, i don't thing a mere tree-clipping could explode a 747 like an atomic bomb, lol ;)

Shot #4 is definitely NOT something I want to see in my lifetime, as I think if I had seen that, my lifetime would have been cut short.

There is an affinity with sim pilots to do something that they wouldnt in a million years hope for....wreck a plane.

It gets chilling sometimes when I play around with the crash effects and watch a tower view of a jumbo take off and abruptly decent into the ground with a bang.
My life is like the movie Office Space

This is totally untrue.  I don't think in the years of service Qantas has ever had an accident. ;D  If I remember right, they have the best rating for an airline.

I like the screenshots though.  Not, the crash :'(, but the quality of your images. ;D

Qantas is just one of many, MANY airlines who have never had a fatal passenger crash (since 1970 anyway).  Others on the list include Southwest, ATA, Jet Blue, Aer Lingus, Finnair, Virgin Atlantic and Sabena.
Great edit, Bob.

its safe to say if the pilots were in that situation and they had a choice, they would never land in an area like that, one of the key rules is to find a clear place to land like a field, next i think almost any pilot would never put any person on the ground in jeapordy where possible. If its a situation where they have little choice where they are going down i would imagine the landing gear would be of little help. and well kiss plane goodbye like that god forbid

can't tell you the name of that church it's somewhere near
heathrow...
Qantas had some fine pilots then unlike me  :)
had no choice the area was very densly populated otherwise
i would have tried for a field like craig pointed out...
i know it's not in the best of taste with all the things that are
happening around the world at the mo..
but these things do happen now and again..
and again...and again...and again... and again....
if i'm the pilot that is  :)
