Boeing 727 ( leg 16 01/02/2004)

Yes! I am at St-Maarten in the Caribian.

Today i flew from Santo-Domingo ( Los Americas) to Princess Juliana in St-Maarten. You'll understand most of the shots will be about the landing ...   ;)

I flew a 727 from Dominicana de aviacion. The compagny cesed to exist. But a wealthy buissinessman has bought the last of there 727's.

Its a bit of a weathered plane, over 25 years old. But it got me to St-Maarten for free, and i could witness the goodbyes of the flightcrew.

Lets go to the screens.

At the gate in Santo-Domingo, i was a bit surprised this bird was still able to fly ( at least i hoped... ;D)

At the gate... Hey, for once the tower is manned!!!

Well, she was a nice plane... lets grant her some rest.

There is a really nice addon scenery available at avsim for St. Martaan.  I highly recommend it for the departure.

Stunning pics, very well done. That scenery is beautiful. That 4th shot is classic.
