One shot speaks volumes of what it can do:

I got hit with a double whammie...bad downdraft AND a heavy crosswind, and it put me right into the path of a tree

Luckily myself and the dog walked away from it with only a couple scratches and a bruised ego ;)

And for comparison, Grant Bovee's (barely) payware "CrashBak" and "SelectFX"....

Since this is a payware, I won't put the image in, just a link to where you can find it. ;)

glad to say that the freeware version looks much better, the Payware is just a big explosion...
Still have a nice PC but I just switched to a hella nice mac

Geez, those payware effects are not as good as the freeware ones, so typical :-/

Keep in mind that a screenshot is but a single frame capture of the actual effect.

In the shot I submitted, there are animated flames following the fireball, as well as a blast crater.   ;)

And tiny, tiny parts of the airplane.  I'm still counting how many.  lol
