Let me no when your afterburner effects stop, for a while it was working and now it doesn't for me!

I've had no problem with the effects so far, are you sure you have your "effects detail" set to high, and "number of lights" set to 9?

I will look into that Ric,

For some reason now when I start the simulation, sometimes there are no afterburner effects, but when I switch to the cockpit veiw and push the throttle full, then return to the spot plane veiw, the effects are there!  ??? I will look into that!

Ah, ok.

This could be to do with the "null zone" on your joystick throttle.

Go to your joystick settings and make the throttle null zone zero, ie, maximum sensitivity on the throttle axis.

It sounds to me like your throttle never reaches 100% (or 0%) thrust, so the burners won't appear, as they are tagged as an effect to appear above a certain throttle setting (90%+ I think).

Try this and see if it works, if not, we can try something else! ;D
