I'm bored, so don't be confused seeing me working (uploading pic and writing stories) that hard...;)

Well, after taking that day off in the middle of Sweden (still don't remember the airport's name. :P), I packed my bags again and prepared for the real challenge: Eternal darkness! (24/7).
With my new skill (saving fuel) i was really prepared to get it on (coming as close to the pole as possible), but before being able to fly over ice cold water with no soul around, I had to go to Hammerfest/Norway. Nothing serious, but I could get a nice taste of what flights in the polar darkness are like.

Alright,alright,I'll stop talking...

First the map:

Then the pics. The weather hasn't cleared up yet,but that doesn't stop me from flying. Checking everything and starting the engines.
Image

Take off. Hey it's quite busy here today.
Image

Yay,the first northern lights!
Image

Climbing. The sun is starting to set...
Image

..and it's becoming darker and darker. Somehow scary...
Image

Almost gone...
Image

The last sunrays are falling into the 680's cabin. I felt quite sad...
Image

From now on there's just me and the darkness (and some GA planes, from which i heard the radio chatter).
Image

Oh,how beautiful those northern lights are!
Image

On final for Hammerfest's airport, over the cold and icy sea.
Image

Touchdown! (The one,who is able to find my AC in the pic, gets an ice! ;D)
Image

Parked and secured. Off to town for some nice and warm (and alcoholic) drinks. ;) ;D
Image

Next leg: Hammerfest to an airport somewhere in Greenland (will look up the name, honestly! ;) ;D).

Greetings,Silent.
