Glacier Girl in Sleap

Postby ozzy72 » Tue Jan 20, 2004 3:28 pm

Well I've just got my paws on the great new P-38 package by David C. Copley, and thought I'd take Glacier Girl out from Sleap Airfield in the UK (Barrie Larkes first scenery project, and its fantastic, so keep an eye out for more of Barries fantastic work ;)).
So here we go ;D ;D ;D
In position and all set...

Jaffa old bean Sleap airfield in the UK is an ex RAF-WWII base, now owned and maintained by the Shropshire Aero Club, it has its own vintage planes airshow every year and a restaurant. I haven't been there personally, but its rated v.highly.

Ozzy ;)

Remember the rule Jaffa, beers in, glasses off, vision fine. Any other mix will lead to confusion ;) ;D

Just thought I would chime in with my 2 cents.
Great pics Ozzy! You gotta love copley's work. Anyone interested in getting any of his work can find it here:
http://www.kazoku.org/xp-38n/index.htm

That is his site, click on the models button on the left to get all his fine work. There is also a link to the site with glacier girl's story, a great read IMHO. David is currently working on updateing all his planes for FS9. He has even mde one into an AI plane, AI P-38's doesn't geet much better than that! Check it out its well worth it.

No Charlie, I didn't see it. But then living in Hungary I probably have even more problems than people in the UK getting C5 ;D ;D ;D Well maybe not ::) :P :)

I'd have thought you'd have a much better chance, especially if you live on a hill :)

Twas a good programme anyway...
