The Flight will from here to Heathrow(EGLL) across the City of London.
The weather is awful and halfway through the flight I discover that EGLL is IFR only. Following landing I have to have a chat with the CAA about a couple of minor infringments
The Jenny is safely loaded aboard the British Airways B-777 outbound for Edinburgh (EGPH).
In the short time it took to load her up the weather has cleared and at FL260 the view is staggering.
This new Sim is good enough to recognise the Lake District enroute!
Landed safely at EGPH but was still doing 65 Knots at the end of the runway so a slight overshoot LOL. The boys from the CAA want another chat...... Oops
While the lads from maintenance fix the gear I'll have a loiter around Edinburgh in my Jenny.
No castle!!! I even cheated by clearing all weather and having a look, but nothing!
A little low on final...
Parked up safely ready to be loaded back on the triple 7 for the next leg to Dublin.
And so the first leg of the trip comes to a safe end. Only three infractions on my license and nobody has died!
Total flying time so far = 2.2hrs
Apologies for the poor composition of the shots. I'll get better as time goes by. I hope.
