Toronto- Pearson Intl. to Newark Intl (1/13/04)

Postby BeukStylez03 » Tue Jan 13, 2004 6:28 am

I took off from Toronto in a 737-200 Air Canada aircraft and made my way to the airport closest to my home in Staten Island, NY.

I was sad to leave my girlfriend in Rochester, and the ride to Toronto to catch the only flight to Newark on the 14th was a long and boring one, but it's nice to be back home!

Here are some pics:

-Making some adjustments after takeoff, just over the border of New York in the Buffalo area:
Image

-At level flight near Rochester.  Don't the pilots look like they're having fun?
Image

-After about an hour of level flight, Air Traffic Control gave me the order to begin a descent.  Here I am at 9000 ft.
Image

-I'm getting close to home!  There are the hotels, those two annoying orange things that I see from the New Jersey Turnpike all the time, and Giants Stadium!
Image

-After flying over the stadium, I made my final turn to my assigned Runway, 22L.  I think I'm a little low, though.
Image

-The flight lasted 1.4 hours and it was a nice and smooth ride.  This is my first screenshot series, and I'm terribly addicted to this game now.  Here I am parked at the gate.  I'm home!

Nice to see you are enjoying long flights. I like em to!

Bit jagged edges in the screens perhaps, but don't worry, mine are also far from perfect... ;)

Well, not everybody has the computer to use AA while flying the sim, so I don't really care about jaggies.

And Omag...from CYYZ to KEWR, that's not what I'd call a long flight  ;)

Nice Job!! It is definetly Addicting isn't it!!  ;D

I think the edges of your pics can be smoothed out a little bit by disabling your anti-aliasing in FS and enabling it on your vid card settings. (worked for me!)

Anyway...keep em' coming!

In the display settings in FLight Sim, disable Anti-Aliasing. Then goto to your display settings for Windows and turn on Anti-Aliasing there....
