The Kavkaz eperiment and some new scenery

Postby Ivan » Sun Jan 11, 2004 2:04 pm

Kavkaz Flying school, or how the AI TRIES to fly a MiG-21
Image
Too wide (1600x800) but still under the 100k limit...
Here are about 4 MiG's flying around, the rest keeps waiting for them to finish.
AI can't keep it in a straight line. The one in the left shot barely misses the tail of my cessna.

Image
Smoke visible from the touchdown, and he's rolling on 2 wheels...

Image
Almaty take 3... this is a must-have, but eats framerate like there's no tomorrow... especially when you turn the camera to the other side of the Cessna
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

this is the patch for some textures

this is the scenery

Installer is in english (nice isn't it)
if you don't like the scrapped Tu-154 at UAAA remove the file 'tu154_.bgl' from the scenery folder

Needs manual linking for the scenery library, folder is put in the scenery folder of the main FS install.

Charts of UAAA are in english. the airport where i made the screenshots is VFR only, and a little to the north (you'll recognise it because of the FPS drop it gives ;D)

FS2004 only and NO AFCAD included (i even have to redo mine)
