Project: ENSTROM

Postby Mike Thurman » Sat Dec 27, 2003 7:34 am

Unfortunately, the Gmax file for my SA316B that i was near completion was corrucpted. It said "Open Failed" and said the name of the file. I reinstalled Gmax and it still did that. So i decided it was time for a new project.....

Project Enstrom
I'll be making an Enstrom 280 with full moving parts, VC and custom panel. As well as reflections and dynamic shine

Would it be an idea to make backups regularly? So you would lose a file, instead of the file?Or is this a really dumb question...

I've learned from "painful" experience to keep multiple backups. :(

But it is not flying yet is it? I have been tinkering with AFCAD files, surprised me how time consuming all this development stuff is.
Once again, thumbs up to each and every person who shares his work with others in the freeware department!! ;D
Will we see your helo(s) uploaded?

Corrupted file

Postby Fitter » Sun Dec 28, 2003 3:08 pm

Hi your project looks great...
Next time look at the GMAX\autoback folder to see if there is somebackup file that can be used...Sometimes when you receive a error message the program creates a backup file in that page so you can still use it
