Posting shots over size limit

I've noticed that many people on this part of the froum lately, have been posting shots that are over the 100K limit, by leaving the shots non-compressed.

Could someone tell me if there is a new limit or something? I've seen people posting at over 340k!!

The server will automatically delete any over the limit, and if you upload and they're more than 100k or you go over the 500k limit the server won't allow you to upload. You have to remember that if you're saving an image from here the file size will be a bit bigger than when its uploaded.
Oh and if any do slip through the net we mods love jumping up and down on people and zapping things
