Postby ATI_7500 » Sat Nov 29, 2003 5:46 pm

Okay now,I just cleaned my screenshots folder and found some pics of daisuke yamamoto's awesome C-119 and F-1.

Thundering down from the top of Mt.Rainier...

Scaring some fishermen and low flying birds...;D

Turning hard for the return to Seattle/Tacoma Intl...

Safely down...

And the C-119 on final for Hannover during a rainy late afternoon...

Other than the C-119 shot that doesn't want to show up, those are really good.  I especially like the Mt. Rainier shot.

Good on 'yer!

That last picture (not rain) is awsome. Great reflection of the sun, makes it look shiny and real.

the C-119 should be avaiable on avsim, i got the F-1 from flightsim.com, but it's a 32 megabyte package and the download speed from flightsim ain't the best one. so i downloaded it at fspirates.com (fsplanet.com), because they have a much download capabilities there.

here's the link for the FS2002 base model: http://www.fsplanet.com/30082003.htm

make sure you get the fixes for it from flightsim.com.

@jesster: it began to rain just a few seconds after i touched down...

@fido: i wouldn't call her beautiful, but she has the certain "something" that attracts me. got to be that awesome VC...

Nice shots Silent.  Once you install the F-1, get ready for a bit of a sticker shock because that 32 Megabytes turns in 142 Megabytes!  :o  It's a nice plane, but if your hd space is limited watch out...  Having said that, I would rank it with the best freeware out there

i've cropped the F-1 package to 16megs and added custom (T-38) sounds. don't know if i should release that (of course i'll ask mr. yamamoto first).

Geat lookin stuff Silent, and hey................nice to see ya in my neighborhood :D
Yep Mt. Rainer is an awesome sight, and even more so in for real.
BTW, for a cool challenge take a flight in a prop plane, or any for that matter(well,.......... maybe not any ::) ) and try some landings at "Ranger Creek" a small airstrip over just east of Mt. Rainer. Heck it's hard to find it much less land there ;)
