Tiffy Strike

Late 1943. German fighter bombers are making raids on southern England. Something must be done...

A Spitfire FR MkIXc makes a pass over the enemy airfield.

The raid is on and only one plane is up to this kind of job-the Hawker Typhoon.

Coming in fast and low over occupied France.

Up above, the Spitfires of 127 wing provide high cover.
Image
Fast and low over the target with 20mm cannon and 500lb bombs.
Image
Only time for one pass, pull up and head home, as fast as possible!
Image
Staying low over the coast. On the way home now.
Image
Back in land, it's getting a bit hot for 127 wing. Time to go.
Image
Safely out to sea. A jolly good show chaps!
Image
Well chaps, weathers a bit better here in jolly old England!

Really nice. Is that CFS3, if so, then I've decided to get it, now all I need is the cash. Lets see, if I don't eat lunch, and I only have bread and water for dinner, I might get it in late 2004. :o  By then there will be a new version, and it will start all over again.  ::) What the h-ll, I,m going for it.

Oooh nice. Where did you get the blue spit? And shouldn't it be void of guns? :P ;)

I downloaded this last year and I've only just got round to using it! I'll try and find the site I got it from. As for guns, it's an FR (Fighter/recon) MkIXc. It retains it's guns and has a camera behind the pilot.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm having fun with this sim now. And to think how I used to call it all kinds of names ;)
Now someone needs to built a MkXIVe Spit to use in it.
