Yep, second post - but a whole different plane: the Boeing C97 Stratocruiser.

You need serious mussle to get this one in the air, but what a nice lady she is. Listen to the hum of those engines! It comes with a decent VC! - found on perfect flight 2000

She is definitely not as pretty as her progenitor, the B-29, but a really nice set of pctures, IMHO #3 & #4 are the best.

I read that it was impossible to flare the Stratocruiser on landing. It always touched down nosewheel first. Wonder if the FS9 version is that authentic?

PS. The legendary Imperial Airways/BOAC chief pilot Captain O. P. Jones refused to fly them & resigned over it.
