Early Evening Test Flight

Postby Fly2e » Wed Nov 26, 2003 8:42 am

The darkness is setting in quickly and I want to be back on the ground soon. I like night landings, but not in a brand new jet!
Image

The soft Alaskan skies make for a nice backdrop as I signal the tower.

As I commence my turn, the jet responds with accuracy!
Image

The runway lights make for a welcome sight as we are cleared to land.
Image

The landing was perfect as I slowly come to the end of the runway. As I headed towards the hanger, I hear the song "Purple Haze" over the aircraft's radio,..... "coincidence?" I say to myself.
"No", says the tower....."We were just setting the mood!"

Hope you liked!!!!!

I think they all rank pretty near the top of the "Best screenshots Ive ever seen". Stunning!
1,3 and 4 are my favorites, its a huge pity number 3 is slightly clipped.
Thanks alot there Birdman, I just re-checked my original shots and that is it. I thought I might have cropped it off!  :P I agree, It would have been nice if the bird was showing her entire wingspan!
