Lock On: Red

Finally got "Lock On - Modern Air Combat".
Nice sim,but there are some major issues ,which totally upset me,like the worst key mappings I've ever seen or the slow menus.
The graphics could be IMHO a bit better, especially the afterburner.
Nevertheless, I took a quick ride in a Su-27,doing Mach 1+ (Ozzy style,of course).

Fantastic Game!  I think it is better than Jane's USAF.
I like Jane's USAF, but since I upgraded to XP it hasn't ran the same.  So I am glad to see a modern combat sim out there.

yeah,i did it with the sukhoi and the fulcrum. it's quite cool, but i don't like it.
i tried to play the campaign, and i don't understand why you have to accomplish a mission successfully....and remmeber, this is a dynamic campaign!
plus,it runs much, much, much worse than even CFS3. i can play it on 1024*768 with almost all details, but every time,i get close to an enemy aircraft, it stutters like hell. :(
i've read in the forums at lo-mac.com than it runs quite smooth with at least 1024megs (!) of ram.
i'm slowly regretting that i preordered it before it was tested in a computer gaming magazine. :P
but let's hope for many, many, many patches....
