I cook "Sunday Dinners" like that 7 days a week... ...!
That was todays dins. I mentioned it previously to Ozzy earlier on this morning, I keep him in touch of each days exciting goings-on at the Fozzer establishment.
Todays was a nice bike ride followed with the usual Sunday dins, as depicted... ...!
There will be another one on the go as well, for Monday...and Tuesday...and Wedn.... ...!
Why do you think I am in such a good, healthy condition...my coat is always nice and glossy.... ...!

Not trying to play a game of one one-upmanship, I went downstairs to get a cup of coffee and thought I had paused the game, when I cam back my MkVII was already at 39000 so I just let her climb. Could a high altitude fighter with lets say a Merlin 60 series really climb this high?

Paul, I'm not sure about this but being a nurse in a mental institution I must say this to you:
CDPD (compulsory dinner picturing disorder) can be treated very well with the right medication and a lot of errr....good food. Go see your doctor and talk to him about your feelings towards dinner plates....

i'm pretty sure the ceiling on the mkVII  was 44,000 ft,     ( i don't know what that is in meters ) with two stage superchargers, i think some of the warbirds of the era almost made it to 50,000.

Thanks for the 411, had no idea a Spitfire could climb that high with armaments. I knew the Photo Recon versions could, but they had extended noses to accommodate the Merlin 71. This MkVII obviously has a standard nose, and a 4 bladed prop, so guessed it carried a Merlin 60series, maybe a 64.  Thanks again.

My personal best in this plane is 41,500 rounded up.  I would love to see someone get it higher without slewing it.
