Target Tug

Postby HawkerTempest5 » Sun Nov 16, 2003 4:19 pm

Yes folks, yet another version of the Awesome Sea Fury. This time a Target Tug version of the T20.

This is superb. It has a deployable target, rotating winch prop, opening cowl flaps, folding wings and loads of other cool stuff ;D Not too sure about that colour scheme though, even if it's authentic.

I think the colour is fine Roger, as long as you happen to be a Netherlands supporter ;D ;D ;D
Nice shots too ;)

I think in the flesh it's more of a scarlet colour, as there was one living at Duxford a few years back...

What's that little pinwheel thing next to the cockpit (in shot 5)?

That wheel is the wich prop. It winds in the target when it's engaged. It spins in the sim, but does not wind in the target, you deploy that with Shift + E and 2.

pret-ty color or is that colour

Well Fido pal, depends on what side of the "Pond" you come from ;D

Nice shots Tempest. I always felt that being relegated to a target tug was the final insult to a fine aircraft like the Sea Fury. ::)

PS. I would rather see them raced abused at Reno. At least they go out in style.

I know what you mean pal, but it breaks my heart to see them treated like F1 cars and thrashed around those pylons.
