You bet they sure do...  The 757 is a very popular aircraft for the airlines.  It is the bridge between the small gets and the heavies.

Actually, airlines refer to it as the only single aisle widebody aircraft....all other widebodies have two aisles running through the seats. ;)

And hence the funny nose / cockpit windows shape. The 757 was designed to share as many commonalities as possible with its 767 sibling, cockpit design included. Even though the 757 is just a one aisle "wide body". So the nose had to have a different look. Not sure if I like it, but it's very unique nonetheless :)

Some more dull facts: There are some 757-200 that are over 256.000 MTOW, and hence are real heavies weight wise, however, the real reason I've heard why ATC prefers to call 757's as "heavies" is that the 757 creates of course wake turbulence but first and foremost very severe vortices due to its wing design. So even though the 757 is often less than 256.000 mtow, ATC still gives traffic 5 miles spacing (standard for heavies) after a 757

I hate the vc though, Posky sure could have a done a better one, imo. (Says he who doesn't know diddley of modelling  :D).
