Jazz CYEG to CYYC

Postby birdie » Thu Oct 23, 2003 5:47 am

SOme shots at sunset on a short flight from Edmonton to Calgary.  By far my two favorite airplanes is this one (*Fanda* Oleksiy Frolov/Thomas Herger Thank you for the upgrade to FS2004) and the jetstream with Mathias Lieberecht's panel.  They make flying just that more realistic.  Enjoy!

Hi birdie,

very nice shots but in the hope you see this as constructive criticism, you could try varying your angles a bit more.

Shots 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 are almost identical. If you had moved around, above/below even though the aircraft may hardly have moved, you would have got a totally different view

Also we see so many fs9 cloud and sunset shots, I don't think that you can rely on these alone now for the main effect. Try getting in a bit closer to the plane itself to get something 'dramatic' in it's own right

I'll say again I'm not just trying to be critical - your shots are very good but you obviously have the potential to do even better ;)

Not at all rollerball.  I don't take it a criticism.  Any advice is always appreciated.  Actually I have been looking at all the screenies and know what you mean.  I have been experimenting but flying online I don't get the chance as often to find the perfect screenshot.  I was just more or less wanted to talk about the airplane.  But I am pretty new to screenshots and am very appreciative of your imput.  Thank you very much and I will take that into account.

birdie:....these shots look fine, but in the interest of even higher quality, for your next set of screenshots, try Alt/Enter and grab the images at full screen, it may help clean up your jaggies a bit, and if you find it slows down your framerates, only fly with the sim, your screenshot grabber, and your host running....you seem to have a few extras running which may be using some resources ......?

Thanx again for all the comments and input.  I don't have a problem with fps but when I fly online the sim crashes when I try to go to fullscreen.  Offline I do fly with fullscreen and agree screenshots are 100% better in fullscreen.  THanx aqain everyone.
