Here is the Douglas DC-3 re-painted in the "Perry Institution for Marine Science" scheme.


The sun is starting to set and we are on our way home from delivering some supplies to Prudoe Bay.

Thanks everybody. This DC-3 I got at Avsim. It is 18mb !!
It is "basically" a repaint of the default aircraft except there was alot of work put into the textures as you can see.
The aircraft also has a "tweaked" aircraft config file that makes this aircraft a joy to fly!

It also came with a folder which includes documents that tell all about the "Perry Institution for Marine Science".
Interesting stuff.  ;D

Great shots, having lived in Alaska as a child, it seems to me the sunsets last for weeks during the spring and fall up in Prudoe, hehe. That is above the artic circle right? Is that download freeware?
