Eurofighter visits the Grand Canyon (Part 1)

Postby GeForce » Sun Oct 12, 2003 1:14 pm

I love the Eurofighter, so I decided to take it for a trip to the Grand Canyon, as I did a few weeks ago with the F-16. This is mostly the takeoff, see part two for the real action ;).

Light the burners

Into the blue...

Get out of the way, clouds ;)

Flying out the nearby airport (scaring the life out of them I should think ;D)

A quick refuel stop and a little rest ... ZZZzzzz

Up again ;)

Who put that mountain there?? ;D

Honestly, why do airliners insist on flying in this exact part of the sky?

Continued in part two - its coming ;D

All comments welcome.

great shots,:) i had the pleasure of seeing this planes  airshow debut at farnborough many years ago, my cousin had a friend who got us into all the backstage areas, and cool private enclosures, i watched this thing takeoff on a special video computer, which showed the heat source from the burners, it was unbelievable, the heat went some 100 feet behind it.
