A Mig????? MOST unlike me....

:o

Just stopped my nosebleed after flying this krazee thing

Image

Went up to about 60000, almost (but not quite!) totally out of control the whole way

Dunno how the thing lands because my graphics went awol yet again after taking these shots because of this crappy new Genius wireless keyboard and mouse set.

Methinks I'm back to my old wire versions VERY soon.

The MIG? Not really my cuppatea  ;)

nice pics, but how's the model of that 29 ? on pics i've seen before (@ avsim), the model had quite unrealistic proportions. and how does it fly?

p.s: does anybody know other MiGs for FS 2k2/2k4?

Hiya

I got it from PlaneSimulation - have had a password there for ages but never managed to get in before! Dunno whether it's around anywhere else. Should think so. It's called tigermig.zip

The model looks great. Cockpit is a bit workmanlike but as I got the Antonov AN26 the other day which has a panel all in Russian and I couldn't understand a thing I didn't mind that too much.

Flight dynamics are a tad unstable for me. Could live with that if controls weren't so light. Even holding the runway at takeoff was all over the place - side to side - it just ain't like that in real life. Most fast jets you just point and go I think - you don't weave back and forward all over the runway.

Worth having if you're a military fast jet fan but I'm not really. But worth doing though

Yep. I've got a Mig-31 Firefox for FS2k4 (check out the screenshots here: http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=screen;action=display;num=1065109170), and this is available for download here at SimV in the FS2004 Military Jets section.

I love fast military jets and afterburners ;D.
