BWIA on Approach

Postby Fly2e » Wed Sep 10, 2003 7:37 am

The flight was wonderful, the views spectacular. Pristine waters, white sandy beaches, and many tropical drinks later, it is time to put this old bird down!

We turn to the DC-10 towards our destination as my co-pilot prepares for our landing.

The landing gear drops from her belly as we start our approach.

With our flaps extended, the sun reflects off her fuselage.

With the runway in site, the aircraft slowly drops from the sky.

Image

The clouds make for a beautiful backdrop as we are almost home.

Image

The tower clears us to land and I am eyeing up that Reggae band playing under the Tikki Hut at the end of the runway!

See Ya at the Hut!!
