Egyptology

Postby Smoke2much » Fri Sep 05, 2003 7:57 am

This are pretty dull screenies, I admit it.

I was flying around Egypt looking at the scenery when I noticed the pyramids at Giza, no big issue really, they've been there since FS95 or perhaps before.  What surprised me was the others...

A right leery bunch of Giza's

That's pretty cool!  It seems M$ has decided to include some of the odder national landmarks, but I've been hearing about so many things being left out right here in the US.  Those guys are dumb . . . ::)

BTW, what aircraft is that?

It's a P-38.  That's default fs2002 by the way.

Interesting Will, have not been there yet! Is it worth the trip?

I don't think Sarah would like it much if I took Agi LOL.  And it is worth the trip if you like flat yellow places.

they were in FS2000 too, untextured

Abu Simbel is problematic because it's hewn out of a rock... terrain mesh does weird things if you want to place things on cliffsides
