Journey to Middle Earth- Part I

Postby Iroquois » Tue Sep 02, 2003 9:33 pm

I was getting sick of going around North America. I decided to take a trip down south. I found this nicely painted Air New Zealand 747-400 in Lord of the Rings special livery. This first part shows the plane at Sydney airport.

On the tarmac pushing back from the gate.

Taxiing to the runway. Pretty much the same as shot one.

Over Sydney Australia with a nice view of the harbour and city.

Shots over New Zealand comming soon.

Nice paintjob. Where did you find it? And is it for the default 747?

It's for Project Opensky's 747. You can get it from Avsim. Just do a file name search for "os74lotr.zip". The file is aircraft and textures.

The third pic was taken at a very nice angle.
