you know...you are just married and of course you have to go on a honeymoon. you take a small, idyllic island in the Carribean...with a nice hotel and a beautiful beach in the shadow of a palm tree. but after a while you get bored: you've seen the whole island, the hotel is nice but... and just as the weather, your wife isn't as sweet as you thought she was. and than...suddenly the following happens...

as i said: bad weather...but suddenly you hear something...


yep, it's a plane...it approaches..."honey, you take the camera?"









the airport looks better than the hotel!

sorry, for those who don't know where this is...it's the famous Princess Juliana airport (TNCM) at St Maarten!  ;)

Thats at TNCM about an hour flight from Puerto Rico.  At least I think thats the airport.  Very nice approach there.

no ILS...you have to do it manually. but you can set up a VOR approach with your Garmin GPS.  ;)
