Concorde:  A Century of Flight

Postby Whitey » Mon Aug 18, 2003 10:01 am

Surely this should've been a default for FS2004.  Anyway, it doesn't matter as the PM2 Concorde works fine, even the DVC has clickable guages. ;)

KJFK-EGLL in under 4 hours.  Not for much longer sadly... :-/ :(  These shots are my tribute to this great aircraft.

You don't have the filenames correct in the post. Might wanna double check them so we don't have to see the red crosses  ;)

There's nothing wrong with the file names or paths.  I'm not a newbie...I stopped making those mistakes ages ago. ;)

It's just they were uploading while I was typing the topic and they didn't upload right first time, so I had to upload again. ::)  By then, though the topic was posted for all to see in it's naked glory. :)

They shouldn't retire it, and have kept it in the original BA colors (crown on the tail)

I know you're not a newbie around here Whitey. I just couldn't see any pictures so my best guess was that maybe you had typed the wrong filename by mistake. But now that it's all fixed, those are awesome pics! To bad that the Concorde is going out of service.

For all those who have seen it live  :o  and doing its stuff, we will miss it, but to those who were never graced with its presence, I truly feel sorry, for you'll probably not get the chance now........... :'(

Very nice shots! I love PM2's Concorde but it's really hard on frame rates.

BTW, I read in the paper that the Concorde will be landing in Toronto on it's North American tour. I think it will arrive sometime at the beginning of October. The minimum price to fly from Toronto to England on a 747 and back on the Concorde is $8000!

Great shots! If i saw some of them not on a sim site i'd swear they were real! ;D

I downloaded the same concorde the other day, works great, although performance isn't what it should be with my poor PC....and I can't get those damn BA colors to work...ah well. ;)
